- Hey there, my name’s Ben or you can call me Li Hua (李华). You see Ben doesn’t exactly translate well into Mandarin, it actually means ‘foolish’ (笨) hence why I’ve adopted a very different Chinese name. I live in the UK, and it can be really difficult to learn a foreign language especially when you’re not living in the native country.
